Last night during the Congress National Youth Activity Team Tournament Awards Ceremony, the winner of this beautiful 4Star gooseneck trailer was drawn! Congratulations to Robert Allison of Crossroads, Texas, who will receive the trailer!
For the past few months, donors were encouraged to participate in the Envelope Challenge. Participants would draw a "digital envelope" to make a donation to the Susan Scott Memorial Scholarship Fund. Donors of $100 or more were placed into a special drawing for the 4Star trailer.
This scholarship is part of the NSBA Foundation's Youth of the Year award, which is presented annually to recognize youth for exemplary community service. The Youth of the Year is presented a $4,000 scholarship, and four finalists for the award receive a $1,000 scholarship. This year's Envelope Challenge raised more than $70,000 for the Youth of the Year award! Thank you to everyone who participated!
Nominations for the 2024 Youth of the Year will open on February 1, 2024. Encourage a youth you know who is doing good in the neighborhood to apply!

About The NSBA Foundation
Established in 1983, the National Snaffle Bit Association has expanded from its roots in the Western Pleasure discipline to recognize various disciplines and eight breed associations in competition. NSBA’s mission is to grow the show horse community through various equine programs and events where every activity benefits horses, breeders, owners and exhibitors alike.
Operating under a separate board of directors, the NSBA Foundation serves as the charitable arm of the National Snaffle Bit Association and provides funding to support the efforts of the Association through programming specific to the equine industry and the NSBA membership.
