The NSBA Office will close at Noon (CST) on Wednesday, November 27. NSBA will reopen for business on Monday, December 2 at 8:00 a.m. (CST).

The National Snaffle Bit Association is accepting proposals from qualified professional horse show event photographers to serve as the official NSBA photographer for the NSBA World Championship Show and Breeders Championship Futurity. The chosen photographer will provide a full complement of photography services including arena awards presentation, arena action, backdrop and event photography at each NSBA World Championship Show and Breeders Championship Futurity, providing print and digital options for exhibitors to purchase, show awards use, and NSBA marketing and magazine purposes.

The bid will be awarded for a period beginning with the 2022 NSBA World Championship Show and Breeders Championship Futurity, which will be held August 11-21, 2022, at the Built Ford Tough Complex at Expo Square in Tulsa, Oklahoma.


About the NSBA World Championship Show and Breeders Championship Futurity
The NSBA World Championship Show offers all-breed classes over a 10 day show and pays out in excess of $1,500,000 in cash and prizes. In addition to the NSBA World Show classes, the NSBA Breeders Championship Futurity and Stakes classes are also offered, along with the NSBA Markel Insurance Breeders Championship Futurity Yearling Sale. The show offers many special events including AQHA Show Your Colors, Heroes on Horses competition and NSBA Honors Awards Banquet.

Terms Of Agreement for Official Photographer
Minimum Photography Requirements to be provided by the Official Photographer (high resolution and/or digital):
• Class champions and top ten placings photographed in the arena during awards presentation
• Class champions photographed in front of the NSBA World Show/Breeders Championship Futurity backdrop
• High Point and All Around division winners photographed in front of the NSBA World Show/Breeders Championship Futurity backdrop
• NSBA Special Events, including but not limited to: Youth Team Tournament, NSBA Honors, Markel Insurance BCF Yearling Sale, Heroes on Horses Boot Camp, Foundation Silent Auction

Other Conditions
• Photographer to provide images for exhibitors viewing within 24 hours following completion of the photographed class
• Photographer to provide office staff sufficient to take photographs ordered during trade show hours
• Photographer to provide authorization for the NSBA staff to distribute digital images to news media, including newspapers, magazines and e-zines
• Photographer to provide authorization for NSBA staff use of all provided digital images for marketing and publication purposes in all NSBA publications and communications platforms.
• Photographer agrees to supply NSBA members with photographs for use in The Way To Go advertising within five days of completion of the horse show
• Photographer agrees to supply all NSBA members with photographs ordered at show within 30 days of completion of the horse show

The Official NSBA World Show Photographer Will Be Granted:
• The right to be listed as the “Official Photographer” for the NSBA World Championship Show and Breeders Championship Futurity
• Banner signage featuring Photographer logo to be displayed during the event
• Jumbotron advertisement for Photographer to be displayed in the main show arena
• Photo backdrop space
• A booth location from which to sell photos (location to be determined based on space available)


Proposal Requirements:
To be considered for review, the photographer should include the following:
• A complete list of products to be offered during the NSBA World Show and Breeders Championship Futurity
• Proposed price list of product offerings including any miscellaneous charges such as release fees, rush fees, email fees etc. for example that our members may incur using the official photographer’s images
• Desired contract term
• Detailed explanation of additional value your services can provide to NSBA by serving as the Official Photographer
• History demonstrating ability to successfully complete contracts of similar size and type, including providing event names, dates and references
• List of other major shows and events contracted for in the current year
• List of any additional requirements or recommendations for consideration by NSBA
• Any sponsorship considerations

• Proposals must be submitted in writing via mail or email.
• Proposals must be received in the NSBA office no later than February 1, 2022. Please note it is the potential photographer’s sole responsibility to ensure proper delivery of the proposal to the designated contact.
